Millstreet Grill, located downtown, Staunton,is known for their Barbeque Baby Back Ribs, which are tender, fall off the bone, and glazed with a barbeque sauce that they make themselves. They also have great steaks, which are freshly cut in house and grilled to order. Fresh seafood arrives daily, which is grilled, sautéd, baked, or fried. 

KATHY'S Restaurant in Staunton. They specialize in home cooking and offers a wide selection of meals and different daily specials at affordable prices -- great steaks, pork chops, Virginia country ham and seafood, as well as a large selection of fresh vegetables and some meatless entrees for the vegetarian. Their soups, bread, biscuits, and desserts are home made. Breakfast is served all day. In my opinion, they make the best pancakes I have ever eaten. Try the Country Morning Omlette. It is my favorite. Of course, my grandson loves their blueberry pancakes. Open 7:00 a.m. - 9:30 p.m., Sunday through Thursday; 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday. 

Depot Grille, located downtown, situated in the old freight depot of Staunton Station. The depot sports a unique atmosphere with original hardwood floors and booths made from oak pews recovered from an old church; You don’t want to miss the view of downtown Staunton from their enclosed deck during each season of the year. 

Rowes Family Restaurant and Bakery, a favorite since 1947, features home-cooked sandwiches, desserts, steak and chicken entrees, and vegetables. They have many of your favorite dishes and frozen entrees available for take home. Don’t miss their coconut crème pie. It is great. You will love Mrs. Rowes food so much, you may want to purchase her cook book while you are there.
